Gillian's voyage in Australia

7 April 2017

What a lovely day in the Blue Mountains. 3 hikes later, 2 waterfalls and the three sisters later... Views to die for πŸŒ²πŸ“ΈπŸ‘Œ

Balmoral beach was a lovely surprise. After the zoo we went to this beach a few minutes away. It was so lovely, I can't wait to go back with a swimsuit fully prepared to dive right in πŸ‘™πŸ˜„
Toronga Zoo. What a place to see! Walk through to get up close and personal with the animals, and such a wide array of animals to make everyone happy. I hope to go again. Hopefully the weather will be better and my pictures clearer. But I had such a good time. 🐨🐡🐹

Today we went to Bondi beach. We went in the water, lounged in the sun, then took the coastal walk (that everyone recommends- and I understand why) from Bondi to Tamarama. At Tamarama we took a mid-day nap in the sun, then continued our walk to Bronte to get some more water time! Today was so fun... I don't think I've ever had such a great time at the beach. Bondi did not disappoint!!! β˜€οΈπŸ‘™πŸ•ΆπŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί

In traditional tourist fashion I had to see the sites by night, so some friends and I went to the Harbor Bridge/Opera House... Then we stayed and had some predrinks by the Opera House stairs. If you can call wine from the bottle in the shadows at the foot of the Opera House "predrinks" πŸ˜‚πŸΎπŸΎπŸΎπŸ»πŸ˜œ
As a welcome dinner to the city, I was taken to a place called 360. Little did I know that this was a REVOLVING restaurant at the top of the Sydney Tower! What a view, what a meal! πŸ˜πŸ“ΈπŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί
Wandering the city I saw some cool things. 1) this bike display outside a shop in the Rocks I thought was too cute... And 2) eating at a place called Kansas City Shuffle. I have to tell you... I don't often take food photos or brag about how good the meal was ... But in this case it was so damn good I HAVE to share! I walked 20 minutes in the rain, and it was worth it! I ordered the Pancake. Words can't describe it. It's so good... You just have to find it and try it yourself. πŸ˜‹β˜•οΈ
First time in Sydney, of course I had to get a few tourist shots πŸ™ƒπŸ“Έ
