On our fifth and final day in the parks we visited some of our favourite rides again, and even managed to catch the parade before catching the train back home! The weather has been wetter the last two days, but generally it has been quite good weather.
We stayed in Disney's Hotel New York which was very close to the park and had excellent facilities. We even had our own little terrace in the garden, directly accessed through a door from our room!

On our fourth day in the park we did lots more attractions, starting off with our extra magic hours in Discoveryland with Orbitron, Buzz Lightyear's Lazer Blast and Autotopia. We then did more attractions in The Magic Studios Park, including Stitch Live, Ratatouille again, Studio Tram Tour and the flying carpets. Back in Disneyland Park we rode Pinocchio, Pirates of the Caribbean, and the Disneyland Railroad. We also enjoyed the walkaround attractions Alice's Curious Labyrinth, Adventure Isle and Aladdin. In the evening we went to Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show, a great dinner show with horses, buffaloes, cowboys and Native Americans!

On our third day in the park we made an early start, getting through the gates about 8:15. Before 9am we had managed to ride a Police motorcar down Main Street USA, the Flying Jumbos, Mad Hatter's Teacups, Peter Pan's Flight and Lancelot's Carousel! There were short queues as those not staying in Disney hotels are not allowed in until 10am, giving us two hours of a quieter park! We also went in a special theatre to 'Meet Mickey Mouse' for a photo, then we moved across to the Walt Disney Studios park, and went to many attractions there, including Armageddon Special Effects, Moteurs car stunt show, Mickey and the Magician stage show and the new dark ride themed on the film Ratatouille! We went back to Disneyland Park for the parade, dinner and fireworks!

On our second day we went on lots more attractions, including Peter Pan's Flight, which we were the first in the queue to get a Fastpass for! The highlight of today was our two hour guided walking tour with Vanessa from Guest Services, who took us all around the park and showed us lots of interesting things, including the old fashioned barber shop, Saloon restaurant and a few places Isabel didn't even know existed in the park!
We are having such a magical time already!
Hazel and Ant should be pleased that I am wearing a Disney princess dress after all - the one pictured here that they gave me!

Welcome back to our blog! Please note that for technical reasons from this point on we are both likely to be posting under Frederick's name, even though it is often Isabel writing! Today we have travelled to Disneyland Paris to visit the theme park during its 25th Anniversary year! We travelled by Eurostar, changing at Lille on route. I of course got my favourite seat number - 42! We had a while waiting for our next train in Lille, so we went for a wander and got some lunch in Burger King! On the Eurostar we played a specially designed virtual reality game on our phones which shows you animated creatures underwater looking like they are swimming in and around the train carriage! We arrived at just after 2pm local time and enjoyed quite a lot of attractions on our first day! We also saw the new parade and fireworks show, which are both really good!
