A relaxing morning at the hotel’s pool and our views from the rooftop terrace

3 April 2019

El Nido airport, a small cozy airport, brand new! Flying to Manila, our last domestic flight. We have taken four planes in this trip, each one from a different company. Bye El Nido, bye Coron, bye stunning seascapes and wonderful blue seas.

A bit of kajaking in the Big Lagoon, beautiful scenery and a bit crowded!

30 March 2019

Taking the “fast ferry” from Coron to El Nido. I don't feel well, funny stomach feeling since early this morning, hope it won't get worse during the trip. I met a very nice galician girl, we talked during the whole 4 hours trip, and its freezing cold! This AC!

29 March 2019

The Super Ultimate Coron tour, this is what we did today. Its been wonderful, we were a small group of 10 polite and quiet young people, so many stunning places to enjoy! We started at the Twin Lagoon with a nice swim then to CYC beach to do some snorkeling.

28 March 2019

Island tour in Coron, Bulog, Ditaytayan and Malcapuya. amazing landscapes, beaches and water! Swimming, snorkeling and sailing. My favourite Ditaytayan with its large sandbar, as the tide was high you could only see the last part of it like a little round white island, amazing!

27 March 2019

Flying to Coron, Panglao to Clark and Clark to Busuanga, two nice short flies with Cebu Pacific and Philippines Airlines. Arriving at Clark airport beautiful views of large rice fields.

26 March 2019

Floating food stalls on Virgin Island. There is always a surprise when travelling😜 Tide is going up!!! A small long area of white sand with beautiful light clear tuquoise water. Boat restaurants with the bbq on it! I tried the urchins, yellow inside, different from the ones from Cadaques which are red-orange, a skewer of small calamari and a skewer of sweet potatoe and banana. Yummy, yummy!
Turtles, coloured fish and corals in Balicasag island. Good snorkeling place, we saw five turtles!
Our first boat tour, starting at 6 in the morning to go dolphin watching, pity they weren’t around.

The highlight of the day: Chocolate Hills!
After we crossed one of the Twin Sevilla hanging bridges and later we had a nice short walk in the Man Made Forest.
Tour day, many places to discover and enjoy in Bohol island. Our first stop is the Phillipines Tarsiers Foundation in Corolla. The tarsiers are the smallest primates, only 10 cms long but with a very thin long tail and very big round eyes. After we crossed one of the Twin Sevilla hanging bridges and later we had a nice short walk in the Man Made Forest.

24 March 2019

Going to Bohol with the ferry, a couple of hours and we will be there!

23 March 2019

22 March 2019

And the end of the day celebrating René’s birthday at Larena Triad Café with Rubel, our tricycle driver. Located on top of a mountain overlooking the bay. Beautiful sunset and nice filipino food: sweet& sour fish, bulalo kare kare and grilled pangus.
Paliton beach, the last of our beach hopping today. White sand bordered with palm trees. Pity it’s low tide, we have a nice warm bath instead of a refreshing swim.
Tubod Marine Sanctuary, best place to snorkel on the island. We saw clown fish, many little coloured fish, nice colourful corals,
Old enchanted Balete Tree, the magical tree. it is believed to be enchanted because its eerie outline is created by hundreds of roots and vines hanging down.

21 March 2019

Espero capiguem tots. Cap a Bato, on un tricycle ens portarà a Lilo-An, des de on surt el ferry de les 12 cap a Dumaguete, Illa de Negros.
Magandang Umada!

17 March 2019

What a peculiar bus terminal 😂 Back to Manila to catch our plane to Cebu. 9 hours night bus, leaving from Banaue at 18.30 and arriving at Manila at 3.30!!! Now we have to wait 7 hours for our flight😱 Very curious... two lines for security check, one for women and one for men. As usually women’s one is longer, conclusion: Women travel more than men😂 It’s going to be a long long travelling day! After a bit more than 1 hour flying we land in Cebu, taxi to the bus terminal and 3 more hours to Moalboal. Quines ganes tinc d’arribar!
Our hut! Ifugao houses built in the traditional way, upstairs one space in which families slept, cooked, ate and stored their rice. Build on 4 wooden pillars, attached by wooden pegs. They are typhon and even earthquake resistent. Sembla un campament gitano per dins!!!! Avui plovia i hem hagut d’esmorçar dins. Fins i tot tenim despertador!

16 March 2019

Bangaan, a tiny little village with around 40 inhabitants only reachable on foot. We can enjoy the great views from the road.
Batad, a little village with millennial breathtaking rice terraces.
Bon dia!!!! Unes vistes impressionants!

14 March 2019

Today it has been a long day travelling from Vigan to Sagada. 2 buses and 2 vans, 240 kms, 10 hours! We got up at 3.30 to catch the first bus at 4.00! The vans dont leave till they are full so we had to wait for two hours the first connection! But the scenerary from the last part of our trip was stunning, high mountains and rice terraces.

13 March 2019

Tricycles and Jeepneys
Vigan churches
Colors, olors i sabors!

Good morning! Our old colonial house hotel. Ready for strolling around after breakfast.

12 March 2019

Everyday in the evening there is a light and music fountains show.

11 March 2019

Manila bay at sunset time, one of the best sunsets in the world says our friend Elfren! Here we end our day having a nice dinner together i una San Miguel!
Chaotic Manila!
Walking around in Intramuros.

10 March 2019

Queueing after sitting 12 hours in a plane for immigration and security control in Guangzhou. Pfffff!!! Now ready for our last flight, in three hours we will be in Manila!!!! More immigration queues, hahahaha!

9 March 2019

I cap a Filipines!!!
