Final day on safari. Pretty incredible experience. Baby animals nursing, mothers tending to their young, animals mating, peaceful coexistence among some, pursuit leading to the kill among others, survival of the fittest. Just learned that we have been "glamping," otherwise known as glamorous camping.

Hot air balloon safari this morning! Other than having to get up at 4:30 AM and a bit of a rough landing, it was 60 minutes of sheer heaven. It was quiet and serene and perfect. Meeting the most interesting people from all over, not to mention the natives who are the nicest, kindest, friendliest people ever. One more day🐅🐃🐂🐘🦏🦍🐆

In the Serengeti waiting for a crossing of 800-900 wildebeest. Deciding where, when, whether to cross the Mara River to get to the other side. Could take minutes, hours or not at all.
Saying goodbye to our tour guide Felix after 4 days traveling w him thru Tarangire National Park and Ngorongoro Crater. Great guy. Great guide. Even he experienced some unique viewings on our game drives. Onward to the Serengeti✈️. 8 aboard our 13 seat plane piloted by a South African.

Visited a Masai warrior village today after spending the day in Ngorongoro Crater where we witnessed hippos mating, ostriches mating and 3 hyenas ganging up against a 4th which was ultimately killed by a lion. Just another day in Tanzania🐘🐆🐅🦍

Lion, baboons, elephants, giraffe. Gotta shoot quickly. U can't make this stuff up. Africa/Tanzania is more than another continent/country; it's another planet populated by the kindest people and animals who act as though they own the place. They kinda do. I'm learning a new word/phrase in Swahili every day!
Lake Manyara Treetop Walk. 10 rope bridges to 10 platforms high above the trees. Enjoying nature.
Friendly elephant just crossing the rd. In front of our jeep.
Sunrise, our tent, breakfast. Leaving Tarangire Natl Park and on to our 2nd camp in Ngorongoro Crater.
