D & W Camping in Champaign, IL was a great place to stay. It was a small park with a man made lake and was peaceful and clean. We were in spot 13 right across from the lake. The owner was really nice, you could use your own firewood or buy from him. The site had 50 amp electric hookup, water and sewer so was very convenient. This was our first solo trip and the first one with Guinness. He was great in the rv, and loved all the walks and the dog park on premises. He pull his stake out completely out of the ground to chase one dog and then broke his collar to get to another golden. Luckily he is all bark and no one was hurt. The campground had wifi, shower, bathrooms, laundry, a small office to buy rv parts, ice, wood, etc. They also had books for loan if you forgot to bring one. The place was really quiet and a great chance to unplug. TV did not work and they have quiet hours from 10pm to 8:30am so not a place to bring a noisy crew. Only $30 a night for full hookups is a great bargain!

Great place for dogs! Dog park was fenced in with doggie bags and pretty much everyone had a dog! Guinness loved it!
First night we hung in the RV as it was freezing outside! We played cards and then netflixed and chilled by the fireplace! Saturday we hung outside by fire, walked and cuddled!

Made chicken salad and brought French bread and the fixings, salads, etc for the first night. We had it for dinner on Friday and then for lunch on Sat. Breakfast were chocolate muffin from Jewel and a breakfast sammie both mornings. Dinner on Sat was burgers and Caesar salads. We made angel food cake, strawberry and chocolate chip pie iron grippers for dessert Sat night. Lots of snacks and fruit were smattered in there as well.
Had the Keurig brewer and my Moscato D'Asti with me so was all good! We also had bottled water, Gatorade, Pepsi, raspberry lemonade, sunny D and milk with us!
Lots of dog walking! The place had a dog park and trails around the lake and campground!
Captain Jack drove the RV like a Champ! Only took two hours and the trip was smooth sailing! The new RV GPS worked great!
