Hiking el Yunque trail. The jungle was wet and muddy. I lost a good pair of Nike shoes there. They were so bad it wasn't worth bringing them back. I wouldn't trade it for the world though. The experience was worth every penny to ours up and I only had to stop twice to catch my breath. The scene on the top was worth everything even if it was cloudy.
At el Yunque starting the trail. This is the first 45 minutes where you get some intermittent sunlight and some waterfalls. After that the jungle gets much more dense and the sunlight disappears.

Back at the hotel for some fun and relaxation!
Having dinner at a local place called las croabas. Pretty cool and definitely very local. The food is highly recommended at Casa Vista and El pascador.
She watches over all who enter here
We arrive this morning at Mar Chiquita. The a lore is the small beach that's made behind the lava rock which is treacherous but the pool behind it is very tranquil and easy for swimming and snorkeling. For those brave enough to venture out, the rocks bring lots of big risk and excitement and deep waters along with those deep water fish.
