Bike trip Day 6 - Hoeven to Delft 70km

10 July 2017

Lots of hipster coffee shops here
Art on the canals provides great looking homes for coots 🕊🕊🦆
Delft has some amazing shops and cafes. We devoured a lovely plate of pasta then found a deli selling tartes. This was my pudding....😋😋
One of the locals wanted a kiss 😘
63 miles meant we all had sore bums and legs so at the campsite we decided to hire a 'grass hut' for the night. Total luxury and we might book it again for tomorrow! So excited not to have to squeeze in to the tent! 😁😁
Arrived in Delft after another very long day in the saddle.. around 63 miles. This is your typical traffic jam in Holland...
On the way to Rotterdam we passed through the UNESCO World Heritage site where there are the most fantastic windmills 😍
My wee cx bike is having a great time despite lugging a heavy trailer about! Here he is on the ferry 😁
Another ferry on our trip today. A short crossing but full of folk on bikes and scooters. Cool way to travel #waterbus
Stopped in Dordrecht for lunch and some Haribo! This was to be our stop originally but we decided 20 miles wasn't enough in a day 😁
Cool sculpture next to a bridge.
Back on the road again today. Took a while to get going as it was hot in the campsite 🌞 Heading to Delft today which is about 70km away.
Lots of long straight country roads and big skies, plus lots of train tracks to cross.
