Edinburgh Castle Edinburgh Castle is an historic fortress which dominates the skyline of the city of Edinburgh, Scotland from its position on the Castle Rock.
Camara obscura and the world of Illusions Great fun! It is totally worth the money! A lot of different mirrors and other fun cool stuff, that you definitely have not seen before!

Go back to the capital Get back to Edinburgh by bus. Calculate some more time, when going back at around 6-7pm because of a lot of traffic.
Gallery of modern Art The museum itself is not so impressive in my opinion, but the stature right outside and the shop are genius!
Walking through Hogwarts This Cathedral just looks like the castle in Harry Potter: Hogwarts! It is just like in the movies - or the other way around?
Take the bus to Glasgow Take a bus to Glasgow. Round trip ticket is about 10 GBP, time to get to Glasgow: about 1,5 hours, more during rush hour.

Abbotsford It's a quiet little castle and it is truely remarkably beautiful! Stop here and enjoy the beautiful gardens as well.
Melrose Abbey Melrose Abbey is a magnificent ruin on a grand scale with lavishly decorated masonry.
Rosslyn Chapel Visit this beautiful Chapel. Parts of the final scenes of "The Da Vinci Code" were shot here. Make sure to pet Sir Williams, the cat :)

Head back towards Edinburgh and stay there for the night. Head back towards Edinburgh! It is a beautiful drive down there! :)
Stroll around Inverness Find the small Unicorn stature just outside the big Mall! The city has a lot of flair.
Drive toward Loch Ness and enjoy the beautiful landscape Go on nessie hunt! This truely marvelous loch is just waiting to be seen by you.

Up to Fort William Drive carfully, there is a lot of deer in the National Parks. Stay there for the night.
Drive around this beautiful National Park Loch Lomond is a freshwater Scottish loch which crosses the Highland Boundary Fault.
Stirling Castle This is the best castle of all times. There are free guided tours once you are inside the castle. The tour guides are not ones you'll meet everywhere else! They really act and are part of the medieval times! Plan enough time, we spend four hours there! Also great for children.
Get a car at Sixt They are the cheapest, I checked a lot of times, don't be afraid of driving on the other side of the road!
Stroll around the city, get lost and have a cup of fine tea. Step inside one of the countless little coffeeshops! They have great bakery as well.
Get to Edinburgh Bus to the city centre leaves from just outside the Airport und gets you within 20 minutes to Waverly station.
