The table shared a salad, and fish with garlic and cheese before our meal. Mary Ann and I both had the beef steak with potatoes, red pepper, and squash-very good! We finished it off with tiramisu-yummmmm!
After we left the Mosque-Cathedral we headed for Seville where we will spend the next two nights. We had dinner at a very good restaurant near the hotel called Casa del Tesorero
Today we left Madrid and headed for Seville but we stopped in Córdoba on the way and went to the Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba. It was not as elaborate as the cathedrals we usually see but was so unique!
13 November 2016
Got up at 2:45 AM on Saturday, November 12,2016 to get ready for my flight out of DFW to Newark, New Jersey. Flight went without a hitch. Found our way around the terminals to transfer from American to United for our flight to Spain. Spent a lot of time in the airport but would rather do that than miss our connection. Our flight to Madrid was pretty turbulent a few times and the seats were awful but otherwise had a nice flight. After our arrival we met up with the rest of the group. We are staying two nights at the Melia Galgos hotel in Madrid
We took a walk from the hotel to Columbus Park. The four statues represent his four sailings. Most things are closed because it's Sunday but there were still lots of people out enjoying the beautiful weather! The fruit stands are very pretty!
