Lunch at Bonnie Blues. Stumbled across in Winchester, VA, this is a ny times "13 cant miss bbq joints in the US" food was amazing. Service was slow but they gave us a beer on the house for the wait and we were fine with that!

Worlds largest apple! Nice little detour to Winchester, VA.
Wild wolf brewery! The brewerys all seem to offer good deals to try all their beers. 11 beer samples for $10. The food was amazing with joe and i having amazing burgers and ben having shrimp and grits. Rattlebag played us a practically-private show. They maybe played a few too many of their originals but danielle practiced her air tambourine in case they needed her to join the band! They closed with fan-favorite GLORIA!
Bold rock cidery! There was a wedding at the ciderhouse so they set up a satellite location with a couple drafts, live music, and cornhole. We took advantage of cornhole and enjoyed the live music!
Silverback distillery! The distillery had rye whiskey, honey rye, vodka, and gin. You could consume up to 3 ounces of liquor while on the premises which we did thru mini shots, mini cocktails, and fullsized cocktails. They made a great smoked whiskey cocktail using smoke from the barrel the whiskey was aged in.
Lunch back at the house consisted of leftover bbq and snacks/cheese. Ben serves the rosé (all day!).
Saturday morning started with eggs and bacon at the house followed by the lake! We found a lake/campground that charged $8 a car for a day pass so we headed out with a couple of adult bevs to spend some time relaxing. The boys enjoyed a manly, courageous swim to a nearby island while the ladies enjoyed the beach with some wine from a bag. The water had alot of fish which did not impress Daneille.

We thought about going out but decided we had a long day and we'd have a night in at the house and play some pool!
Picked up dinner from Paulies Pig out and ate at the house. Amazing bbq!
Wine tasting at Veritas. We got 8 samples for $10 but couldnt stay long because there was a wedding that night. Gorgeous vineyard though and we bought some wine!
Peach picking at critzer farm! The fruit loop is a series of farms where you can pick fruit with breweries and wineries. It was so much hotter down the mountain than on the mountain so it was a short fruit picking stop in almost 90 degree weather!
We visited Blue Mountain Brewery and ordered the 10 drink sampler flight. They had good beers across the board, but our favorites were the IPAs and sessions. The Drink A Peach was any interesting sour beer that tasted like a Jolly Rancher.
Next up for the day was a hike to a waterfall. It was between a 1 and 2 miles but was very steep and uneven footing so it was a slow go. When we got to the waterfall joe dunked his head in the water which made us all want to! Very refreshing break in the hike!
Started the day with some morning waffles and sausage at the house. The dark one isnt a chocolate waffle, cassie forgot it was in the maker!

Buddylou's in hancock for dinner. Fried green tomatoes for an app. Place was adorable. The owner used the backs of flannel shirts to re-upholster the chairs, created curtins from the sleeves of said shirts, and sold the remaining scraps as boas. The place was also an antique store with old tvs and appliances everywhere!
GIANT QUARTER! Used the road tripper app to find this roadside site in everett, pa! Luckily there wasnt a line for photos!
Starting our journey to wintergreen with danielle as the driver and healthy berries for a snack!
