Copenhagen, Denmark

29 January 2017

On Sunday, we visited the Carlsberg museum because the weather was not that nice. It was very cloudy. That was nice because we discovered a little bit more about Carlsberg and we had the chance to taste different beers, which was included in the ticket. 4:30pm: that was the time the ferry left from Copenhagen to Oslo. The ferry was big but the rooms quite small but we only stayed for a night so it didn't mind that much. This is the end of our trip to Copenhagen. I really enjoyed the city that was very fun! I'm very glad I had the opportunity to visit it! 😉

We also visited the Round Tower (Rundetårn in Danish) where you can see Copenhagen from the top, and there is a quite amazing view. We arrived around 4, so a little bit before the sunset. The view with the sunset was even more beautiful.
In the evening, we ate the danish specialty called smørrebrød in Nyhavn and that was very good. The place has been recommended by our host from Airbnb where we stayed.
We also went to Nyhavn to see all the colourful houses. That was so pretty. I think that was one of my favourite thing we visited. This is a very alive neighbourhood.
On Saturday, we started the day by visiting the Rosenborg Palace and it was really interesting. Then, we went seeing the Amalienborg Palace (pictures) which is the royal palace in Copenhagen. We arrived just in time to see the changing of the guards at noon. From the palace, we have a view of the Marmorkirken (this is the second picture). Then, we decided to go see the Little Mermaid, which is the most famous statue of Copenhagen. There were a lot of tourists even if it was just January. Luckily it was sunny all day so we could really enjoy our day in the city walking around.

This weekend we planned with a friend to discover a little bit Copenhagen. We decided to fly from Oslo to Copenhagen on January 27th and get back with the ferry-boat on January 29th. This is the first time I travel to Denmark, and I'm really excited about discover Copenhagen, a city I wanted to visit for a long time. I hope you will enjoy as me through my pictures. 🇩🇰
