Day 3 - Today we went to the Florida School in Soweto, South Africa. We met so many wonderful kids and we were treated like celebrities! Like actually, everyone was coming up and asking to take selfies and poctures an hugs. Some of the very little kids wanted us to pick them up and spin them. Coco, Basha and I got to lead a class and we taught them about Beyoncé and the US. They were all super sweet. Later one we met our penals. Both of them were extremely nice and we had way more in common than we thought we would. We cant wait to go back on Wednesday!
Day 3- Elena and I rocking them MB hats...😏 Today we are meeting our pen pals after lunch. Before then we are going to the Florida School in Soweto, which has over 1,000 kids- but not one of them wasn't smiling despite their tough situations and it was really eye opening to see their enthusiasm to learn. Basha, Elena and I taught a class about music such as Beyoncé, and it was such an enlightening and happy experience. After a yummy lunch, we drove to Kliptown, where we toured KYP and met up with our pen pals.Mpho is super sweet and I can't wait to see her Wednesday!
