We couldn't hack another 14hour bus journey so we treated ourselves to a flight from Hue to Hanoi. We met with two Canadian girls we had previously met in Chiangmai. A few drinks later we were getting on a bus (a little tipsy) and headed further north to Sapa.

Day 25 - 27
Hai Van Pass/Hue, 🇻🇳
We decided to jump on the back of a motorbike and go see Hai Van pass. Sitting on that bike taking in the views has definitely been a highlight of my trip so far. We arrived in Hue after 6hours on the bike. We got to see the Imperial city a squeezed in a night out on the dancefloor. Next stop Hanoi. ✈️

Day 20 - 24
Hoian, Vietnam 🇻🇳
Leaving Dalat we headed for Hoian. This meant another long journey. We took an over night sleeper train for 12 hours to get us to the city of lanterns. This has been my favourite place so far on the trip. Wandering the lantern lit streets at night and spending the day by the beach. It is truly beautiful. We have one more night here before we head further north to Hue.

Day 16 - 19
Dalat, Vietnam 🇻🇳
Another long bus journey got us too Dalat. We visited the Crazy house which I think resembles a fairytale house. So beautiful. The next day we signed ourselves up for a day of canyoning. Consisting of abseiling three cliffs, two water slides and 7metre jump. Every part of me aches today but it's worth it. 💪

Day 13 -15
Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
After two weeks of avoiding any problems with food, Áine and I got knocked back with food poisoning. We spent a lot of time here in bed recovering.
Yesterday we made it to the Chu Chi tunnels. Ho Chi Minh is just like any other big city. Crazy and fast. We are leaving tonight to go North too Da Lat.
