Made it home to Napa safe and sound. I'm not sure who missed who most- Zach or Brutus.

Days 10-12: Checked into the Riu for our last 3 all inclusive nights in Aruba. Had a great room with an amazing view. Ordered room service and enjoyed breakfast on our balcony the first morning. Spent all 3 days on the beach sipping cocktails. It was a really relaxing end to our amazing vacation.

Day 9: Got a rental car again and explored the island some more. Found a beach that shared Zach's mom's name. Drove through the national preserve and got to explore a cave with Indian paintings. Then we had an amazing dinner on the water at sunset. Great last night before we check into our fancy hotel.

Days 6, 7, and 8: We had a few lazy days at our Airbnb sleeping in and lazing by the pool. We went back to the Old Cunucu house for dessert and to listen to the guitar player. We bought him a beer and heard some great stories of his life.

Day 4: Went to a Dutch pancake house for crepe like pancakes that were amazing. Found the only antique store in Aruba, of course! Visited the Aloe factory- which was once one of the islands largest exports. And made a yummy dinner at home.

Day 3: Took Zach to the donkey sanctuary- which was really cool, had some cuddly cats, and a donkey with a tongue like Maximo. We had lunch at a beautiful beach we stumbled upon, then swam for a bit. Found another beach to enjoy as the sun set.

Day 2: Rented a car to explore the island. Stumbled upon a rock formation garden and a beautiful church. Had lunch at an Arubian restaurant we found and visited Superfood grocery store again to marvel and the wide assortment of international foods.
My view currently. So content to stay right here all day!

Zach and I took the Evans airport shuttle from Napa to SFO. Our red eye to Philadelphia was pretty uneventful. From Philadelphia to Aruba we sat next to a teenage boy and his sister. They told us all about their favorite spots in Aruba. It was raining when we landed. Our can driver told us it was their first rain in 3 months and much appreciated. Got to our airbnb and immediately got in the pool. We also went to 2 different grocery stores and had dinner on a pier over the water. It was beautiful. A busy first day in Aruba!
