We finish our first day at Grizzly Gulch.
Amazing view of the parade, the park was so quiet
Then on to Mystic Manor!!!!!!
In Toy Story Land I go on the RC Racers while Alan stands and laughs!
We go on It’s A Small World and meet Piglet!
We meet B.B-8 and go on the Ironman Experience.
In Tomorrowland Alan gets recruited to help bring down the rebels!
Excited for our first day in the park!

We check into our room at Disney’s Explorers Lodge at Hong Kong Disneyland!!!

30 October 2017

Halloween Party Time!
My attempts at arty twilight photography. Love the way the lights make everything extra magical.
The daytime parade was really good but we couldn’t see much, the Park was packed!
Our first view of Tron before riding it for the first time. Soooooo good!
Of course, we couldn’t miss the opportunity to go to Disneyland Shanghai!

28 October 2017

Shanghai skyline as seen from The Bund.
A very interesting afternoon at the Natural History Museum.
Stumbled across this sculpture park while walking through Shanghai.
The view from our Shanghai hotel room after a day spent travelling by bullet train from Xi-an.

26 October 2017

After a day travelling to Xi-an by bullet train we went to see the Terracotta Warriors.

24 October 2017

Then on to The Palace Museum, or the Forbidden City.
Our second tour day starts with a trip to the Temple of Heaven.

23 October 2017

Then a tea tasting which was very nice but eyewateringly expensive tea.
Then onward to the Badaling section of the Great Wall of China. One more item ticked off the bucket list. What an awe-inspiring place.
Our first organised tour started off with a trip to the Ming Tombs. We even had to recite a small rhyme on our way back out to make sure our souls didn’t stay there.

22 October 2017

Peking duck in Beijing. Might as well get it where it originated. Having the head served up cut in half was a bit weird.
Tried to go and see Chairman Mao but it was closed. Found this amazingly picturesque park instead.
We visited our first Buddhist temple today. Yonghe Temple, beautiful place.

21 October 2017

Checked into our hotel, picked up our train tickets for our onward journeys.

20 October 2017

Breakfast before our trip and the view from departures at CDG.
