Brugge, Belgium

This book has been invaluable Brendan and Lou. It's been with us everywhere. I even woke up from a snooze with it stuck to my right buttock!
Well, we eventually got here this weekend....and got seats. I'm back on the Straffe Hendrik Quadruple and Callum's on Delirium Tremens. Cheers ๐Ÿบ๐Ÿบ
Well, what more is there to say...
Can't pronounce this place Brujes Beer, but it's got beer in the name so can't be too bad. First time I've had Troubadour Westkust. It's not bad but had better from the Three Musketeers brewery.
A rest from beer for a moment with Irish Coffees.
Cambrinus lunchtime today. Over 400 beers, the menu was like a large dictionary of Belgian beers. Would have enjoyed it more had it not been so busy - got busy very soon after these photos were taken

And after the tour, some fun was had at the 't Brugsch Bieratelier. Met some good people and had a good laugh
Our little visit to the Brugge Zot brewery. One of the brewery tours to date
Patiently waiting for our XL brewery tour at De Halve Maan

Pannepot Old Fisherman's Ale. A nice little 10%er to finish the night. This one is full of flavour, nice fruity plum flavours. One for the shop??
Oerbier (De Dolle Brouwers) 9% Belgian ale - it's ๐ŸŽถtasty, tasty, very very tasty ๐ŸŽถ
Guess where we are... still friendly as ever
Crowdsurfer in a rubber dinghy (Three Musketeers)... who thinks these names up! A nice refreshing Saison beer at 6.5%
Carolus Indulgence Whisky at 11.7%. Very dark, rich and chewy. Couldn't drink too many of these and walk home ๐Ÿ˜œ
Julie's first beer and ribs...
View from our bedroom window - very close to all the action...๐Ÿบ๐Ÿบ
