Boarded! Hopefully I will sleep the entire flight to avoid jetlag.
Bye bye Seychelles 🇸🇨❤️
People close to me know very well that I can talk non stop about food 🤷🏻♀️
This place had a buffet which gave a chamce to tatse all local chutneys (they have around 20 of them) pumpkin chutney, green apple chutney, papaya chutney were my favsand I have been eating them the whole week.
I have never tried Octopus 🐙 dishes so far 😳but it is my favorite in Creole cuisine. I am not a food blogger so I can't describe the taste, you have to try it yourselves. Grilled Octopus is out of the world in boat house restaurant. Octopus curry is good here. Tried grilled redsnapper. It was great.
All Creole buffets/BBQs give a side called 'fresh chillies sauce', helps make any dish spicy 🌶
Grand Anse in Mahe 🌴
Port Launay beach 🌊
Those red roofs are on Eden Island. They built lot of mansions but I think they couldnt sell all of them. I saw Ads of Eden Island houses everywhere.
After checking out, we decided to drive to Beau Vallon beach, Port Launay and Anse Soleil
We have to be at the airport by 5 PM.
Sunset Beach Hotel !
This hotel was everything I could have asked for. Room was beautifully decorated by the time we checked in. Sorroundings were breathtaking. The porch infront of our room gave me so many memories.
The cafe/restaurant in the shack was unbelievable. I got up early everyday to have breakfast in my favorite seat in the shack.
Oh the best part is there is no wifi in the room. It is only available in a common conf center near the reception. I am so happy 🙃vishu finally survived without wifi for almost 9 days 😝
I feel better now. I had Glucose water.
Last day in Seychelles 😕 We want to go around rest of the beaches before leaving our rental car in Airport.
4 March 2017
I fell sick or may be just dead tired 😴
I think i might have sun stroke in the boat to the dive site. I slept for 6 hours 2 PM to 8 PM 😳
We had plans to go Anse Intendance again for enjoying in the beach 😕
Ok, I am going to take rest today. I don't want to fall sick tmrw.
With Mizo our guide. He was patient but I wish he spent more time teaching us. The dive was great but all I learnt were hand signals and some mechanics involved in going up and down.
May be that is something we have to do in our certification courses.
Nevertheless totally worth it.
I am not even going to describe the experience because it's surreal and one can only experience it.
Its our first time! Seeing the variety of fishes and the coral reef, touching it was well worth it. OMG it was sooo goood !
We will definitely get PADI certified for our next trip where diving is popular.
All set 😎
Gooooooood Morning ! It's Scuba diving day !!!!
I am excited and a bit scared. We are only doing the introductory dive so we will go down with the guide. So it should be ok.
3 March 2017
I love these flowers. I used to see them a lot in India, never saw them anywhere else.
Seybrew - local beer in Seychelles 🇸🇨
Anse Takamaka ! By now, all beaches started looking alike 🙃😳
Going home to take a bath and relax 🍻We will cover the rest of the beaches on the last day.
Anse Intendance - Waves are bigger and stronger ! We had soooo much fun on this beach 🏖
Unfortunately I don't have a good photo which justifies the place.
Going to Anse Takamaka next.
Anse Parnel ! It is a quiet beach 🌊. Has lots of 🌴 🌴 🌴
I love the pictures taken on this beAch 🌊
Next stop: Anse Intendance !
Les Dauphins Heureux ! Nice bistro overlooking the azure waters of Anse Royale.
Service was a bit slow. They took 45 minutes to get us our order. My fish in Creole sauce was amazing 👌
Don't go there very hungry 🙃😝
Anse Royale ! Such a pleasant beach and the water is soooooo blue, a bit more bluee (ok azure) than other beaches. We are planning to have lunch at the famous Les Dauphins Heuveux 🍴
Uffff finally going to Trois Freres hike.
Actually we will do plan B - Going around all the beaches in the Island 🌴 to find perfect beach for relaxing and having fun 🏖 ! We did some heavy lifting because of car puncture 😕
There was a ditch on road and we got our tire punctured. 😩😤😰

Having Dinner at Marie-Antoinette restaurant.
Originally opened in 1972, this place boasts a time-honored menu that has remained virtually unchanged since its doors first opened.
They have a fixed menu. They will get everything at once 😘
I ❤️reading maps 🗺
My hubby picked it for me in Kreolor 😍
It had unique handmade craft and jewelry made from 18ct gold and different types of shells.
Sooo much traffic. I did take photos at the small Ben 🤗(Replica of Big Ben, clock in "London outside Victoria train 🚂 station)
My greeku veerudu (king nagarjuna) took pictures there in greeku veerudu song from 'Ninne Pelladata' movie.
Hindu Temple in Seychelles 🇸🇨
After arriving here, we realized there are many indians who settled here. We saw shops like Ramarajyam, Sri Sai, Saraswati etc
It's partly cloudy today 😓So decided to go to Victoria, capital of Seychelles 🇸🇨
Heard there are many souvenir and local craft shops 👍
Checked into Sunset Beach Hotel ! OmG i have to do one dedicated photo session for this hotel.
We started from our place to ferry at 6:15. ⛴ leaves at 7. He saw stray dogs on the street, he refused to come LOL 😂 i gave him all tips to come past the dogs 😝
Finally he went back home and came back on cycle. Daaaaavuda 😕 and I had to go put the cycle back at the house. 🙄

La Digue tips:
Do spend more than two days here. In one of the la digue maps I read "La Digue is the beach mecca you have been training for. Mahe and Praslin have merely been your warm up to this moment" I can totally vouch for this.
Book a tour with Robert on La Digue (you can easily google him) two days before. Its definitely worth it. Also talk to him if you want to rent bikes. They get the bikes to the jetty when you land. Who dont want that comfort 🤷🏻♀️Also we packed our luggage in backpacks, so it was easy to bike to hotel.
Coral Apartments is 5 min walk to jetty. It was super comfy, no taxi booking etc to go to jetty. We are planning to walk there.
One more important thing ! I saw that there is only one ferry leaving from La Digue to Mahe, so booked the 7 AM one :/ you can always book la digue to praslin and praslin to mahe.
Sleeping early since we have a ferry to Mahe. Hopefully we have internet there to upload my journi. I wrote everything offline so far.
His name is Ian 😍🤗 I played with him all through our hike. He kept saying Bonjour 🙃 and then ge says Mamoo Papooo Nathoo Ian ... thats his family 😍
No straws 🌴
Robert was a great guide ! He gave us fresh coconuts out of the tree. He climbed the tree barefoot 😳
These two kiddos arranged cocos for him.
I dont have a photo but he also showed us Cinnamon leaves 🍃 which they use in every creole curry. I am going to try Creole chicken curry for sure after going back.
Anse Source D'Argent ! Supposedly most photographed beach. It was OK for me. L'union estate was very beautiful with shacks and swings
You have to walk in waist deep waters for 30 mins to reach L'Union Estate from Anse Marron.
Anse Marron - Waters were shallow and great for 🏊 It was like a holy dip after the hike 😌
We found nice shade under the rock after.
Peek at Anse Marron 🌴
I cannot match his love ❤️
My favorite 😍near Grand L'Anse
We had to go through the hole in there 😎
He is posing as king of the Island 🌴 LOL 😂 if a dog comes here, he woul jump into the water also. Oh boy ! He is having a tough time in La Digue where there are 100s of stray dogs. We don't have a car also, so he is under extreme caution every minute 👻
Next stop Grand L'Anse
Our guide Andreas !
Anse Songe ! Our first beach stop during the hike 🌴
Scenes before Anse Songe 🏞
Me and my 🐢 bag ! Seychelles is very famous for Giant Land Tortoises !
We are going to see more in L'union Estate.
I can get married again 👻
Grand Anse in all its glory
Trip to discover Anse Marron ! One of the most beautiful beaches of La Digue. Supposedly its a secret beach and it can only be reached with the help of guides/locals.
Grand Anse is our starting point. We will see Anse Songe, Grand L'Anse and then we will reach Anse Marron. From there we will hike to Anse Source D'Argent, most photographed beach it seems 📸
I am super excited ! Lets go baby 🏞
28 February 2017
Sleeeping after a debrief from our guide robert for the trek tomorrow 🎒
Grand Anse beach was sooooo nuch fun. The waves were super strong to push us onto the shore 😱 and ofcourse 🌴
Perfect Anniversary 🤗
Biking down to Grand Anse . We were late so couldnt go to Petit Anse and Anse Cocos. May be tomorrow
Bikes Bikes Bikes 😍
Chez Marston in La Digue! I say this is a must try place ! OMG their chicken curry in creole (local) style is THE BEST. I never thanked for the food so many times. I made sure Chef received my compliments 🤗
Coral Apartments ! The room was great but sorroundings were decent.
Bathroom was so convenient and big to take showers after abeach day 🏖
Love at first sight 😍 La Digue 🌴
I havent even explored anything here, but somehow this place gave me very good vibes. We rented bikes 🚴 and stopped for lunch. Locals are very very friendly. Everyone drives a bike here. Loving it 😎
Vallée de Mai - This is a UNESCO heritage reserve, home to many endemic Coco de Mer palm trees, Seychelles black parrots, geckos 🦎, 🐸 and other species.
We were not very mich into this tour. So finished it in 1 hour and left early.
It's our First Anniversary 🎊
27 February 2017
We went to St.Pierre to do snorkeling ! Our guide was kind enough to give us snorkelling gear with life jacket 😛
It was very good ! I was a bit scared initially, depth is around 25 mts. Glad i did it! We saw sooo many types of fishes.
Hoping to do more snorkeling in Mahe !
We're tired 😴
They served us delicious Creole beach BBQ with 🍻
We met Flavia and Bernhard from Austria. Such cool folks. They were on their honeymoon. Went to Sri Lanka before coming here. They invited us to their house in Austria 🤗
Beach is so very blueeeeee !
Off we go 🌊
OK time for some stunts 😂
Curieuse is also home for mangroves which are officially maintained !
OMG i saw one more while walking 🐢
I am really really in love with them ! Have never seen a Giant tortoise this close.
Scenes while walking to the beach where they served us BBQ.
I am totally in love with these tortoises! They were sooo cute when fighting for bananas which a tourist got.
I am cursing myself for not reading about it on Trip Advisor
By the way, he touched only the shell though 😂
He was scared to touch it 🙄
He has natural fear for any kind of animals i think .. Sighh 😦
Land to many free roaming giant tortoises 😍
Curieuse has a interesting history. There used to be a hospital/asylum which treated people of Seychelles who suffered from leper. We could see the remains there.
Granite formations were great here too 👍
Today we want to do a day tour of Curieuse - St. pierre.
Tip: Book this trip in advance. We were lucky to find the tour operator in jetty even though boats leave from Cote'D Or/Anse Volbert beach
Woke up to a beautiful ☀️morning ! Heading to the Breakfast place. Vishu slept like a log because of JetLag yesterday 😓We didnt have dinner 😡
I am sooooooo hungry
26 February 2017
Came back from Anse Lazio to enjoy 🌅 in the hotels private beach ! So calm and peaceful 😌
I want to do this tomorrow as well. Such secluded beaches, so blueeee 🌊
Vishu slept on the beach like an idot. I tried to wake him up multiple times, gave up 😤 He was so jetlagged 😛
Random 😘 while hiking back to the car from Anse Lazio
I couldn't stop myself anymore even for pictures 👻 ! So dived right in 😌
Anse Lazio ! I might end up writing same description for all the beaches in Seychelles 😳
The sand is as smooth as baby powder. No kidding. Loved the crystal clear azure waters 💞The soft white powdery sand beneath your feet and the sounds of the waves crashing against the granite formations provides you the true beach bliss ❤️
Praslin and La Digue are very famous for beaches with Granite formations.
Castello Beach 🌊 Hotel 😍
It is way better than i expected. Beach is steps away from the suite !
She Sells Seashells on the Seashore of Seychelles 🇸🇨🎒👒🌊
Exactly an year back 😍
When I was taking my once in a lifetime journey 👰💘🤵🏻
