Ben's journi to Russia

8 October 2017

Sunday morning service in St Petersburg...these 3 men graduated from the rehabilitation centre this morning, meaning they’ve been there 1 year! Was very exciting... Got to take a group photo...the church here has been fantastic. We had a marriage seminar at 10am, which generated many fantastic questions... Service started then at 11am. Preached on the invisible spiritual battle we are involved in, the altars were full of people praying and many responded to specific prayer and we also prayed for the breaking of addictions, had around 15 come forward for prayer...it’s been an awesome time!

What a great night we had Friday night...preached a sermon on “the oil running low”, about our need to be filled with the Holy Spirit...saw 5 saved and 5 respond to be filled with the Holy Spirit...also saw words given which later proved to be timely...praise God for what He’s doing here...
Thursday night of Revival in St Petersburg...we had a great service...preached on forgiveness and saw an awesome response at the altar time. We saw 3 answer the altar call this night and I prayed for one lady who testified of an instant and complete healing! Friday morning I was able to minister again to the group from the rehabilitation centre...I ministered on our need to fight for our salvation, 2 men, unknown to me were going to give up & leave rehabilitation, but during the message they both felt God speak to them and they have decided to stay...this was a great miracle!
Winning the world from St Petersburg!

Some photos of St Petersburg! It is a really beautiful & historic city...
Here is the flyer for my Revival here in St Petersburg...would take too long to explain the cartoon, but the flyer is challenging people to come and see God is real...
Up early again this morning for prayer at church at 7am and then preaching at 7:45am to the church’s rehabilitation centre members and any that could stay back after morning prayer. The church has a rehabilitation ministry running 24/7 at the church reaching out to addicts in the city, they are seeing a phenomenal success rate, many of these addicts live at the church building and receive constant support and ministry...was a great time of ministry with many questions. I preached about the heart of the Gospel, which is repentance, meaning a change of mind...and when we change our minds about God, self and sin, then God begins to change our hearts! Which is the hope of the Good News...
Ministry to the members of the rehabilitation centre...have had the privilege to minister 3 mornings in the rehabilitation centre here, they are hungry for more of God, we open for questions and it feels like it could go all day...
Ok, so here’s my room...sorry about the messy bed, lol... Last night we had Solyanka, which is a traditional Russian sweet and sour soup, accompanied by fruit tea...was really nice...

Here’s my accomodation in St Petersburg...it’s really nice inside, no one speaks English, but we are working around that, lol...the church provided fruit which is great, and there is a daily breakfast included...really blessed to be looked after so well
My first meal in Russia, McDonalds!
Here we go on the next step in the journey, Moscow...in Moscow we part ways, Pastor goes to Vologda and I fly to St Petersburg...very exciting, look forward to posting some photos when we arrive...
