Aventura de Anouska en Tokio, Japón

15 July 2017

One of the best views you can have in Takamatsu on a summer evening: the Ritsurin gardens.
First time Sanuki udon in Takamatsu. Loved it! The chicken tempura was to die for at Shinpei Udon! 😋😋

On the Nankai ferry from Wakayama to Tokushima, perfect timing for a beautiful sunset.
The Wakayama castle, not as big but still impressive and beautiful. From the top you can see the whole city, how it's all spread out.
The Kuroshio market at Marina City in Wakayama. Excellent food, amazing food stalls (wanted to buy/try everything) and really good the show about cleaning a huge tuna.

Tuna bowl at Nagisaya. Some of the best tempura bites I've ever had! 😋😋
Oyunohara at Hongu Taisha shrine, the biggest tori in Japan
The entrance tori at Hongu Taisha shrine, hidden in the mountains.

Tuna set at Bodai, in Kii Katsuura. Tuna texture to die for, amazing eggplants and small bait with yellow peppers.
The harbor at Kii Katsuura, second only to Tokyo in tuna captures
Shingu viewed from the hill where Kamikura shrine stands.

Yokohama's bridge, a bit too far and a bit too Misty but wonderful nevertheless.

Walking around Roppongi I happened to find myself in the middle of the Midtown Gardens. How beautiful! There's a small shopping mall with amazing food stores and a kind Japanese couple invited me over to exercise with them early in the morning. I just love this city 😍
Gyoen gardens, just magnificent. Should have planned much more than a couple of hours to fully enjoy all it's beauties.
First soba ever, so yummy!!! Best dipping sauce ever at a small place around the corner from the Gyoen gardens Shinjuku entrance.

Small and beautiful parks scattered all around Sumida
The overcast cleared slowly but still it was not enough to enjoy a lift to the top of the Skytree
Ushima shrine, hidden in a corner of Sumida Park
My first meal back in Japan, a stone pot fried rice bowl at Tojari in the seventh floor of Ekimise (Asakusa), which was delicious.
