Last night here in Tehran. We decided to go to burj milad because I have been begging to go see it. Wow, totally worth it, and we didn't even get a chance to go up! We arrived after the last elevator up so we decided to do the nearby zip line. I would definitely come back here next time in Iran.
All in all, it has been a pleasant and relaxing trip. The circumstances were unique, however, we made the best of it.
This is my first time using this program to document my journey. I tried the best that I could to document everything but obviously missed a few things here and there. I encourage all to make a trip here. It has changed so much and is becoming more of a free place to live and express yourself.

These next pictures is the reason why my mother and I came to Iran. It was the passing of my dear uncle, my mother's brother... Uncle Amor... He will be dearly missed...In the last picture you will see my great grandmothers grave. My mother's grandma. I still can remember two of of great grandmothers one from my moms side, and one from my mothers.
The crazy thing is both of those women were sisters...
Cherish the moment, enjoy the journey, tell your loved ones you love them.

It's been four days since the last update on here. I am still getting used to it. Wow, I did so much, visited my grandmother maman Shamcy and went to the American embassy. They opened it up to the public as a museum. That was quite the experience to go and see where that all went down. The spy machines and paper shredder were all still in tact. And the door wide open where anyone from the street could just walk in...
The next day I spent time with sara, Termeh and friends and we went to another classy spot called Rendevous. It was definitely a western flare chic spot. Food was ok but the company was better.
Today, I did something amazing that I will never forget. My cousin Daniel took me on a tour of Tehran with his motorcycle. Let's just say, it was not for the faint of heart! But definitely exhilarating passing cars and obstacles on the road at razor thin margins. And the rush and quickness of getting around is unmatched compared to other activities.

First day out and about in tehran. Jet lag is finally wearing off. Spent this day with my cousin and we went to have breakfast at a local spot, visited Tehran university, ate at a western restaurant, and ended the day with a visit to my uncles dermatology office. For Iran, that's a lot to get done in one day!

Arrived in Tehran at about 4 in the morning. Airport was packed! The airport to the city is about 45 minutes away and we past up imam Khomeini shrine on the way home.

Caught a rare chance to see the pilots review their preflight. Is this a sign? :)
First meal in the Emirates/Qatar lounge with mom. Flight got delayed because of Incomeing flight. It diverted to Norway because of a medical emergency. Anyways, we get to chill in this lounge and soak up the privileges.
