Day off, so a little cheat or two on this day. Went over the river with my Sis to take Chase to his hockey practice while us girls got a bite to eat and did some shopping. This was the cookie Aria chose for her dessert at Penny’s Kitchen. We all got a cookie and each had a taste of the other’s.

Protein Smoothie! I start most days with one of these. Everyone hates the sound of my Ninja blender which takes one full minute. The cats run away, Ron ducks outside onto the deck; the kids retreat to their rooms or cover their ears... Unsweetened almond milk, flax oil, protein powder, baby spinach, 1/2 banana and frozen fruit.

Ahhhhh, Metro sells wine until 11 pm during the week. I do miss the little Wine Rack cubby by the exit doors at Metro. It was very quickly covered over, and now is a big wall with one lone locked door. Trying to manage alcohol as part of my healthy diet in moderation.
