Anniversary #1: Euro Trip 2016

31 July 2016

It's time to head home but I found this water bottle along the way that fits the anniversary theme perfectly. (With you, life is magical) Adios, Europe!

29 July 2016

We had a wonderfully gay day yesterday. We did the LGBT tour at the Amsterdam Museum and saw their exhibition, Transmission (very, very good). And we hunted down some rainbow cupcakes and had a drink at the oldest gay bar in Amsterdam.

28 July 2016

Awesome day in Amsterdam! We went to the Van Gogh Museum, did a canal tour, explored the cat museum (complete with love cats), and found the rainbow Iamsterdam letters!
Amazing houseboat in Amsterdam! Also thr breakfast is phenomenal, we love out host, Ben!

26 July 2016

We spent the last two days beaching and gaying it up in Sitges. We even stayed with a fabulous drag queen (not pictured but her drag room is!)

24 July 2016

Picnic and Movie!
Awesome last day in Barcelona proper. Had a darling picnic at Parc de la Ciutadella and now an open air moving on the beach. Barcelona, you have my heart.

23 July 2016

Did an awesome walking tour today and saw some beautiful parts of Barcelona. Also, I finally won a Poké gym but then was immediately defeated

22 July 2016

Our own tour of Gaudí arquitecture. La Sagrada Familia, la Pedrera, and Park Guell
We had a Gaudi-tastic day today! Sagrada Familia, Pedrera, and Parc Güell all checked off the list

21 July 2016

We found the fairy bar and it's everything I hoped and dreamed. Loving Bosc de les Fades.
La Boqueria Market!
We have arrived! Staying in the fanciest apartment I've ever stayed in.
It was great Porto! Time to head to Barcelona!

20 July 2016

Hitting up the Douro valley vineyards
Took a day trip to the Douro Valley today, drank some delicious wines, and enjoyed magnificent views. Pro-tip, take the train from Porto to Pinhao and enjoy the scenic journey
One frantic Uber later and we are on the train to wine country

19 July 2016

I got the traditional Porto food, Francesinha, for dinner. As you can see, it's mostly cheese. It's my spirit animal.
Great first day being total tourists in Porto, Portugal. Took the tour bus and ate lots of good food (mostly cheese and wine).

18 July 2016

Tapas dinner at the incredibly adorable Wine Box and back home to sleep off this jet lag. I would post pictures of the tapas but we were too excited to eat them to remember pictures.
Our beautiful little corner apartment in the center plaza with windows all around. It's next to the train, metro and all the best restaurants in Porto! Also.. pokemon has taken over this city too lol
BTW, we started the trip at our first check-in by being asked if we're sisters. #lesbianprobs
Beautiful view coming into São Miguel this morning
Step 1: wait at the airport in a swanky gate area and play some cards
