Why yes! I think I will!
Today we stopped by Petroglyphs National Monument in Albuquerque. Over 21,000 symbols are carved on rocks, with carvings dated from 700 to 1500 AD. It was really warm but very interesting!
Waving at Jose when we go by...lol

This evening in Amarillo,TX
Still raining but blue skies ahead...on the road again...
So getting to the Texas state line has not been the most fun. We are currently pulled between two hotel buildings on some random exit trying to avoid half inch hail and torrential downpours. We are safe but arrival in Amarillo may be a little delayed. Better safe than not...
22 July 2017
Back to the Diamond Mine this evening-just in case we missed something....nope-still no good finds.
Staying last night and tonight at Diamond Old West Hotel in Murfreesboro. It is like an Old West town. Locally owned. Great concept for this area. We are staying downstairs in the Saloon.
When we returned to the hotel, Alex and I "panned through sand" for more rocks. Still hot outside but good finds...
The diamond mine
July 22- We dug for diamonds at Crater of Diamonds State Park in Murfreesboro, Arkansas. Temperatures were around 95 degrees. No luck finding a diamond but we had fun and found lots of jasper, labradorite, hematite and calcite.
