A sad goodbye, but in about five hours, we made it to Vegas! We had little time there, as we were just there to catch a flight home, but we had a great stay at the Belagio hotel. And a view to remember as well.
We woke up the next morning with some snow on the ground. I spent a bit too much time taking pictures of elk though, and by the time we got to the rim, all the snow had melted. It was still worth while seeing the unreal landscape one more time.

We finished off the day with one last amazing sunset in the Grand Canyon. We found a spot at Mojave Point, but boy was it both windy and cold. Though I thrive on the cold, Mom was miserable. But she pushed through and it was worth the view anyways.
The afternoon was spent in the sky! We took a helicopter over the canyon with Pepilion Airlines. It was somewhat anticlimactic (especially considering the price), but it was still cool to have a different perspective.
We woke up at 6:00 for sunrise, and it was certainly worth it.

And what a sunset to remember.
We made it to The Grand Canyon!!! And as soon as we entered the gate, we were greeted by the most spectacular views.

Finally we made it to Sedona. We started off the evening with a long hike to Devils Bridge. Without water too, we thought we wouldn't make it! But when we got there it was beautiful and pretty heart racing too. After a releiving stop to get some water and pizza, we went back to the trailhead for some amazing stargazing. We left early though because we were worried about some creepy crawlies.
Almost done with the two hour drive, but first a stop at Montezuma's Castle!
Wow! Such a beautiful drive out of Phoenix! And this is just the start
