When in Paris

19 March 2017

A quick coffee Parisian style on the side of the road before heading back to Gare du Nord to catch the Eurostar back to London (although we nearly missed it)
L'Avant Comptoir - amazing French tapas bar. Standing only tapas bar with the menu hanging from the ceiling. Great food and wine not forgetting the giant slabs of butter on the bar!
In the afternoon we visited the Arc De Triomphe followed by stroll down the Champs-Élysées which of course ending in some purchases!
This morning at the Eiffel Tower. We went up to the second floor viewing point and it was freeeeeezing

18 March 2017

Nap time before tonight's adventures 😴🥂
Lauduree Macarons. We tried Rose, Orange blossom, salted caramel, pistachio and lemon. They were all so tasty and I couldn't possibly choose a favourite
Les Nymphéas by Claude Monet at the Musée de l'Orangerie 😱 really beautiful paintings in a really beautiful setting
Strolling through the Jardin
Being children at the Notre-Dame
Notre-dame selfie
Fun at Le Louvre. We did a lot of taking tourist photos and not a lot of art viewing
Walks along the Seine, laughing in the rain...🎵 (tiny Eiffel Tower in the distance)
And another one, because it's so beautiful

17 March 2017

Dinner at Les Canailles (a restaurant from the Michelin guide) followed by cocktails
The Mummy's walking down our lovely little crooked street
Burger & Mojitos Paris style. Best fries EVER!
Waiting to Board the Eurostar. Just a coffee because I ate my pan au chocolat before I remembered to take the photo 🙄
