Day 3 - We decided to take it easy today and take advantage of the luxury in our lives at the minute. A brief chill out by the pool and getting our tan on before heading into town to meet up with Timmy. We caught the Lions match at a local Kiwi pub before heading back to the Sheraton for some food and more relaxing. All in all Bangkok was just mad but in a good way.

Day 2 - We decided that we would try and be cultural today. We headed off in the morning for a day of adventuring around the temples of Bangkok including the Golden Mount and Wat Trimirat. This consisted of Rachael having to put on long trousers a lot and also a lot or arguing with Tuk Tuk drivers about the price of journeys. We headed back to the hotel for some grub and a pint before heading to bed. Jet lag was still defeating us. However we did discover National Geographic and Discovery Channel had some amazing showsz

Day 1 - The adventure of a lifetime has begun. We arrived rather seamlessly into Bangkok, grabbed a overpriced taxi and headed to the Sheraton on the River. We headed out on a dander and grabbed a coffee to see our local surroundings. We could already tell Bangkok was going to be a bit insane. We headed out for dinner where I got us lost in what can only be described as the scariest slums of Thailand. We searched for a Chinese restaurant but ended up in a mechanics garage. Rachael was then approached by a random man who put us into a tuk tuk. This tuk tuk took us to the first temple of Bangkok for a philosophy lesson before taking us to IFC for some tailoring. I must have had mug written on my head as I bought 2 custom shirts. Our tuk tuk driver then dropped us back at the mechanics garage where he showed us that the Chinese restaurant was actually through the doors on the right.
