A nice glass of beer for refreshment on a roadside momo shop.
The Rohini highway leading from Kurseoung to Sukhna; the last drive on these hills.

The best part of the mountains, to me, is that they let me walk for how long as I want. These long walks through, be it through the woods or the roads, gave always excited me.

Today we arrived at the peaceful little village, Chimney. The weather's nice and the clouds have followed us over here too.
Bid farewell to Sitong.

Visited a two centuries old, peaceful monastery, Lepcha Gumbah.
Enjoying long walks along the road and chilling with the clouds.
Visited Ahaldhara today. It was cloudy and foggy everywhere. Although, we had a nice time the best time to visit this place is during the month of October. The hills, during that time, appear orange in color for the cultivation of the fruit.

We were warmly welcomed into the homestay today. People over here are really very homely and generous.
Came across this small cute monastery at Mongpoo (a small village on our way to Sitong)
First stop- Siliguri. After a long night's bus ride, we've grounded ourselves in Siliguri for the morning. After a nice breakfast, we'll be out for Sitong. Our driver (who is from Sitong) says it'll take about 2 and a half hours to reach the village and the weather over there is fine although there might be occasional drizzles. Anyway, we'll be out in a while for an adventure. Looking forward to an unforgettable experience.
