Mykonos - Artemoulas Hotel - BEST HOTEL EVER. We had such an incredible week in Mykonos and staying at this amazing hotel just made our week. We were greeted at he ferry terminal and driven to our new home for the next 7 days. Everything from the facilities to the friendly staff - it all ran smoothly and we didn't want to leave. I could stay in Mykonos for 2 weeks and explore.. so I was very sad to leave when we did.
Mykonos - Scorpios, one of the best places in Mykonos. Great vibe, great music, great venue, great food and drinks. All round winner. We met some cool people and had a great time - we went twice haha.
Make sure you reserve a table if you want guaranteed access into the club. Sundays are super busy and fill up without reservation. The other nights are equally as good.
Go around 5.30pm and stay for dinner and drinks.
Mykonos, Little Venice - small strip of bars that are directly next to the water. The water even splashes up sometimes so be sure to visit during low tide if you don't want to get wet. Drinks will be expensive around this area. €12-€20 euro for cocktails
Mykonos - Nickolas Joanna's Tavern, great place for authentic Greek food at a reasonable price. We tried loads of different types of foods and both had aqua and a strawberry milkshake each.. then bill came to €50 with a small tip. Usually we were spending a lot more and eating a lot less.. so this was a great change. There is a lot of street food in Mykonos that's very cheap however if you prefer restaurants my advice would be to stick to the authentic restaurants that won't over charge you. Very touristic place so just be careful when choosing.
Mykonos - beach days at Gialos Yialos are my favorite. Yialos Yialos is a great restaurant and bar which also provides beach sun beds for an extra price of €10 if you eat at the restaurant.
We met an awesome bar tender who looked after us a lot and became our friend.
Water is beautiful and crystal clear - great for swimming, really calm and less wind as is in the south of Mykonos island and more protected.
Mykonos - favorite island for fun and nightlight. Make sure you allow a night or two to experience the towns vibe. There are plenty of places to walk in and out of.. some places have a cover charge of around €15-€20 and others are free. Walk around and see what music floats your boat. Mykonos can be quite dressy is some places so dress up a little and don't wear thongs.

Ios - Pension Irene was such a great place to stay - we enjoyed this so much. The service was outstanding and they went above and beyond to assist us. My parter hurt himself while he was there and they even drove us to the hospital, very kind people. Also there was a pool, clean rooms and air con :)
Short walk of 800 steps into and out of the city or you can catch a bus for €1.60 and walk back. That's what we did if we were feeling a little tired 😊
Would recommend to anyone
Ios - great island to explore however the party scene is not that great. Very young crowd 16-18 yrs old, schoolies vibe and sometimes quite out of control with people drinking on the street. We didn't go out at all during our stay. We wanted to explore the island.
We hired a car and drove around the island to a remote beach. Be sure to have someone explain some good directions because google maps doesn't always have the streets correct and will take you down dirt roads that just end. Worth the $20 euro to hire the car so you can see the beautiful beaches on the other side. Pack a light picnic lunch or you can order food at the small cafe there.
Great views, great swimming. Can be windy towards end of July / Start of August.

Santorini - Quad bikes, if you're game to ride them. Easy way to explore island. Make sure you wear sunglasses as it gets quite dusty on this island. You can ride around the entire island - quiet small and easy to navigate.
Santorini - sunset dinner along the Fira Strip - where all of the restaurants are. Some restaurants require a booking.
Santorini - walk along the coats of Santorini to view the magnificent views over the Aegean Sea.
