Senior QA Software Tester

At Journi we’re building an app that allows customers to create beautiful photo books and other print products without effort. Using AI technology, we automatically create personalized designs based on the content our users want to print.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Senior QA Software Tester who is passionate about working with great products and loves being part of a motivated team of internationals.

➤ What you will do

• Support the entire quality assurance process for mobile, web and backend

• Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements and specifications.

• Hands-on testing across multiple mobile devices, platforms and OS versions

• Identify, document, and track software issues using bug tracking tools.

• Bring your expertise and knowledge, give feedback to peers, share new ideas and make improvements to our processes.

• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and QA methodologies.

➤ Your bag of tricks

• 4+ years of professional experience as a QA software tester or similar

• Experience with creating test strategies, writing test plans and ensuring the quality of the product

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.

• Attention to detail and ability to identify bugs or issues

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong communicator and ability to understand different technical topics

• Constantly learning, asking for feedback, and self-motivated

• Proactive and take ownership of your work

• Able to relocate to or be based in Vienna - the world’s most livable city!

• You’re an EU citizen or have a working visa for Austria (unfortunately we aren’t able to support non-EU citizens for this position)

• Experience with API testing tools

• Experience with performance and security testing.

• Experience with automated testing

• Knowledge of UI/UX, common designs and navigation patterns, accessibility, and willingness to cooperate with designers to assert the best user experience
