Senior Machine Learning Engineer

What are we looking for?

➤ What you will do

• Develop and train machine learning models that power our apps

• Work from concept until rollout of a production-ready machine learning environment

• Come up with new ideas how to leverage data and machine learning models to improve user experience

• Work closely with the product and cross-functional development teams

• Share new ideas and make improvements to our process

➤ Your bag of tricks 

• 5+ years of experience developing machine learning models

• Excellent knowledge and practical skills in Computer Vision (image classification, object detection, representation learning)

• Excellent knowledge of Python

• Experience with machine learning toolkits (Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)

• Curiosity to dig deeper: find anomalies, potential issues or opportunities for product improvement

• Strong communication & presentation skills

• You are constantly learning, asking for feedback, and self-motivated

• You are permitted to work in the EU/Austria or have a degree in Computer Science which is required in Austria so we can apply for a work permit

• You are able to relocate to / based in Vienna - the world’s most liveable city!

 ➤ Nice to have (but not required!)

• Knowledge of AWS or GCP cloud and ML services environment

• Experience with optimizing ML/DL solutions for mobile devices

• A fair annual gross salary in accordance with the Collective Agreement, starting from €56,000. Our final offer depends on your experience and qualifications amongst other factors.
